Many people will often have a business dispute with a professional, the first thing to do would be to bring it to the professional's attention. This way the dispute will be resolved much quicker and cheaper. It is extremely beneficial to understand the signs to a business dispute that may be on the horizon, there are key signs that there may be a business dispute coming.

In today's' economic situation, it is no surprise that there are a few problems with delays in payments which is generally the case when customers are trying to manage or organise their cash flow and you are being neglected. Or alternatively, the delay in a payment for services could be because someone is unhappy with the services or goods that was provided. Many people show the fact that they are unhappy by avoiding paying for something, which results in a dispute. This best possible method for dealing with a delay in payment is by asking why that would be the case. If the customer has a complaint to make, it would be less stressful to find out about it much sooner rather than when it is too late as problems can be sorted before any formal complaints or actions have been made, or when huge amounts of money is spent on legal representation. If the customer does not complain, and just states that the payment delay is due to cash flow problems on their part, it should be confirmed in writing which will then allow you to have evidence to state that the customer is happy with the goods and services that you provided, if they decided to make a claim against you. If after an unreasonable amount of time has lapsed, and payment has still not been paid, then it is advisable to take action to recover the debt and reduce any chance of the same thing happening again.

Another common sign that a business dispute is on the horizon is when someone ceases to communicate with you, even if someone has stopped returning your calls or emails, it is a clear indication that there is something wrong, especially when they were prompt at responding in the past. The best thing to do when communication ceases to occur is to start to organise all the paperwork that has accumulated through connection with that client and then go on to seek legal advice. It is amazing how quickly someone will respond to a letter from a solicitor, which will inevitably commence communication again. Even if the response is not positive, it will at least indicate why there is a problem and be the beginning of the end of the business dispute.
